Built on storytelling, shared experiences, and real human connection, VIA brings people together through events, quests, partnerships, and curated local insights.
With 200.000 members on Facebook group and many active members on VIA community platform and multiple community initiatives – we are entering a new stage of growth. Our mission is to empower people to explore Vietnam more deeply, build meaningful relationships, and unlock new opportunities through community.
To scale this impact, we’re looking for an agile, creative, and purpose-driven community growth leader.
The Role
We’re looking for a Community Growth Strategist who is passionate about building authentic communities and scaling them the right way.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with our founder and core team to shape the next chapter of VIA. You’ll help us welcome new members, strengthen our value pathways, and expand our paid offerings (like the VIA Insider Pass, VIA Passport) – all while preserving the soul and culture that make VIA truly special.
This is a role for someone who loves the art of community-building as much as the science of growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Audit our current member journey, messaging, and retention model
- Define and execute a comprehensive member acquisition strategy
- Create growth goals and KPIs aligned with our brand and values
Audience Targeting & Funnel Optimization
- Identify and refine our ideal member avatar
- Develop lead-generation campaigns using organic and paid channels
- Optimize touchpoints from interest to conversion (landing pages, emails, onboarding, etc.)
Campaign Development
- Collaborate with our team to build and test offers, webinars, or free events that drive leads
- Write compelling copy or partner with creatives to build campaign assets
- Identify collaborations, referral programs, or affiliate partnerships
Analytics & Reporting
- Track member growth metrics and campaign performance
- Test and iterate based on data and user feedback
Who You Are
You’re someone who understands that community is a living ecosystem – and you know how to nurture its growth with care, strategy, and creativity.
You might be a perfect fit if you are:
- A self-starter with experience growing membership communities, coaching programs, or digital offerings
- Equally comfortable designing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute
- Familiar with community platforms – or excited to learn quickly
- Skilled in funnels, audience-building, storytelling, and campaign planning
- Someone who values authenticity, direct communication, personal ownership, and long-term relationship-building
Nice to Have
- Experience in startup, travel, culture, lifestyle, leadership, coaching, or personal development
- Familiarity with the VIA ecosystem, community engagement models, or Viet Kieu/expat communities
- Light technical abilities (Community platforms, Zapier, Google Suites, AI, Analytic Trackings, Workflows, Basic design)
