Long Beach

Long Beach stretches for 20 kilometers in the southwest of the island and is divided into 2 parts. In the north part, there are 5-star hotels with private beaches that are kept clean. Going south it is easier to spot a place with public access to the beach. There is a Long Beach Village for backpackers, with bars and affordable prices. Down south you can visit fishing villages and pearl farms.

Long Beach is a perfect sunset spot, but you will have a great time swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. The beach is very long, offering a wide variety of dining options, entertainment, but also many spots where you can relax by yourself. Explore small lanes going inland to find more bars and restaurants, or chill right on the beach at a bamboo hut sipping a cocktail or drinking a coconut.
