Dinh Cau temple is also a lighthouse and it was built to honor Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea, protecting sailors and fishermen. The temple is also called a “castle”, or “rock temple” because it is built-in rock formations on the beach,with trees emerging from the rocks.
Located close to the harbor, it has a terrace on top of massive rocks with stone benches overlooking the wavy ocean. It is also a good spot to observe the hustle and bustle at the harbor and locals coming to pray to the Goddess.
