The main beach of the biggest city in Central Vietnam, My Khe beach, is considered one of the best beaches in Vietnam and even picked as one of the world’s best beaches. The votes were based on how easily accessible and free of charge it is, its long and flat sand shore, hours of sunlight throughout the year, perfect conditions for water sports, safety for visitors, and a wide range of luxury resorts and international standard villas.
The beach is so big that even when it’s crowded, you will find a spot far from other people, at the same time being conveniently close to chilled coconuts, a lounger, and the main road with shops and restaurants. The beach is clean, and the water is clear. It has interesting underwater life with coral reefs and abundant plants in many parts.
The beach is a place where you can enjoy many activities, from renting a jet ski, riding waves, playing beach volleyball, outdoor exercise park with many locals doing pull-ups and having their evening workout routine. People come to sit on the beach by the light of the moon and chat, play guitar, sing songs, and socialize. The best conditions are from April to September, when the sea is calm and few rainy days.
