Cai Be Village Mekong Delta Tour

Itinerary

Let’s Get Started:
We’ll kick off the day by getting into a comfortable private vehicle and heading to the Mekong River. The drive takes about three hours, during which you’ll get to see the countryside and learn about the river’s journey from Tibet to Vietnam.

Cai Be & Local Culture:
Once we reach Cai Be, we’ll board a private sampan boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Our first stop is a traditional floating market, where you’ll see lots of colorful sights and experience the sounds and smells of local trade. It’s a great spot for photos!

Rowing Sampan & Bike Tour
Next, we’ll switch to rowing boats to explore the quieter canals of the delta. Then, we’ll visit Tan Phong island, where you can enjoy a fruit orchard and a local music performance. We’ll also take a bike ride around the island, visit local families, and see how they make things like rice paper and roofs. Lunch includes local dishes like spring rolls and braised pork in coconut juice.

Handicrafts & Cao Dai Temple
After lunch, we’ll get back on the boat to watch locals making coconut candy and pop-rice. Our last stop is the Cao Dai temple, where we’ll learn about this unique Vietnamese religion and admire the beautiful temple art.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City
After a fun-filled day, we’ll head back to Ho Chi Minh City, with plenty of great memories from the Mekong Delta.
