Hi, it’s Thien here (or you can call me Gordon). I’m working in Specialty Coffee Industry.
When i was a Barista, I understand that continuous learning and knowledge enhancement are crucial, no matter what position you hold in the coffee industry. I firmly believe that no one would pass up the opportunity to improve themselves every day. However, when I first started, accessing specialized, authoritative resources of specialty coffee was not easy. Furthermore, the specialized training market for coffee professionals in Vietnam was not widely established at the time.
Therefore, I created Beanside Out, which started as a personal blog, with the hope of sharing more coffee knowledge with the community. And now, Beanside Out has officially become a Coffee Training Center where I spend my full-time efforts. I hope that with my sincerity and experiences, I can offer you a “delicious cup of coffee” built on a foundation of sustainable knowledge.
For this reason, Beanside Out has never been a story about any individual. It was ignited and formed for the common value of the community, for the connection between generations of coffee professionals who share the goal of nurturing the spirit of those truly passionate about the coffee. I hope that at Beanside Out, you will find encouragement, inspiration, and the necessary tools on your journey to pursue your passion in general and the coffee profession in particular.
