My name is Brandon Hurley, and I’m an American who has been living in Vietnam since 2014. I originally moved to Vietnam to experience a year of living abroad, but I had no idea how much this year would impact the rest of my life.
After meeting my (now) in-laws, I began the journey of studying the Vietnamese language and created a YouTube channel to document my progress. Creating videos on YouTube led to my appearing on various TV shows in Vietnam and starting a new career as an ‘unofficial ambassador of tourism’ for Vietnam.
