The Halloween spirit hit the courts in full swing at Sân Pickle Pickle, Thảo Điền, as Saigon Healthy Lifestyle and Vietnam Is Awesome teamed up to host the Halloween Social Pickleball 2025, a morning of friendly competition, laughter, and community connection that brought together expats, locals, and families for a celebration unlike any other.
Starting bright and early at 7:00 AM, the event transformed the pickleball courts into a festive playground filled with costumes, themed challenges, and the unmistakable sound of paddles and laughter. Players arrived in their best Halloween outfits, from iconic superheroes to playful pumpkins, ready to compete, connect, and have fun in the name of health and community.
A Celebration of Movement and Connection
The event’s program included a full lineup of activities that kept participants moving and smiling throughout the morning.
- Trick-or-Treat Match: Players drew cards for a surprise “trick” or “treat” before each round, keeping the games unpredictable and entertaining.
- Witch’s Broom Challenge: A hilarious twist where players held broomsticks between their legs while competing, testing both skill and balance!
- Beginner Coaching & Free Play: Courts were open for guided coaching sessions, making the event inclusive for newcomers while advanced players enjoyed free-play rallies.
- Mini Games, Costume Contest & Lucky Draw: The fun continued off the courts, with creative challenges like apple bobbing, prizes for the best costumes, and a lucky draw that sent participants home with gifts and smiles.
An ice bath recovery session from Recharge provided the perfect cooldown after the morning’s games, helping players refresh and recharge.
Community and Collaboration at Its Core
The event brought together individuals and families who share a passion for wellness and community. Participants ranged from seasoned pickleball players to complete beginners, proving that the sport can truly unite people from all walks of life.
