The millennial pink-everything trend will never fade on the ‘gram’ and that’s completely fine by me! Deep down, I think we all need a little pink in our lives, don’t we?
Speaking of all things pink, welcome to Saigon's Tân Định Church! Not only is it Ho Chi Minh City's second biggest church after Notre Dame Cathedral, but its bright pink exterior makes it nearly impossible to look away. With its blushing pink walls and intricate Roman-Gothic elements, you can instantly see why this is a hot spot for photographers and Instagrammers alike!
Aside from its striking beauty Tân Định Church has managed to survive some of Vietnam’s more testing times. Completed in 1876, it took six whole years to finalize this masterpiece and although it has since undergone many periods of restoration, its architectural underpinnings remain true to its origin.
Although every angle of this pink beauty is a good angle, some of my favourite shots to take are actually from across the street. And while you’re there, checkout the views from Cong Caphe because its terrace seating offers up another gorgeous perspective. So grab a coconut coffee, some peanuts, sit back, relax and enjoy the pink church from above. This spot is not to be missed!
