Possibly the best thing about the North of Vietnam is not the various, remarkable destinations. No. Despite these places being terrific, the true breathtaking nature of the North can be found in the long winding roads, and the little gems one finds along their paths. We spent six weeks exploring these roads, winding through mountains, following rivers, and chasing sunsets. Our journey began in Cao Bang, and ended in Sapa. Along the way we experienced things neither of us could have ever dreamed of, and learnt more about this beautiful country than we had in years. These photos are an ode to those magnificent roads, and the journey we experienced along the way.
