It was the best school trip ever. After finishing the final exams of the first semester, students who were currently in grade 11 of my school were able to travel to a place called "Dambri Waterfall". The trip lasted for 2 days and the destination was in the North-East of Ho Chi Minh city, near Lam Dong province. It probably took about 4 to 5 hours to get there from Ho Chi Minh city by bus. However, I believed it was truly worth to try. When I arrived at the waterfall, I was quite shocked because it was not really "a waterfall". It was a huge area named "Dambri Waterfall Resort" with a variety of plants and flowers. This resort is landed on a top of a mountain so the temperature was very nice during daytime. However, when the sun came down, the temperature could decrease up to 15 degrees Celsius. For me, it was a remarkable experience. Because the weather in Ho Chi Minh city was hot and humid, visitors will be able to experiment a totally different kind of weather when they come to Dambri. In addition, this resort consisted of cottages where people could take a rest or sleep over. At that time, there were three cottages that given to my class. Then, we had free activities before dinner. After dinner, students and teachers moved to a spacious stage to have a game show. My class won the first prize of the game and we were all amazed by how well we were. At about 8pm, me and my classmates went back to our places and started our camp fire. Even though everyone was full but we still had BBQ and we brought some light beers as well. The resort was surrounded with laughs and chats until midnight. It was one of the most memorable moments of my high-school years. I stayed up all night with my friends to play around despite the harsh weather. At nearly 5am on the next day, we came out of the cottages to watch the sun rising. On the next morning, we got down of the hill and it was amazing. This place had bikes for rent, a huge lake and a small rollercoaster for travelling around the resort. The end of the rollercoaster was next to a waterfall. However, it was not the Dambri one ?.
If people want to visit the Dambri waterfall, they have to climb the stairs for 360m more so as to see that waterfall ?.
I managed to do that and I was so proud of myself because I have not joined any physical activities until that moment ?, so I took out my phone immediately, then quickly caught this magnificent moment ?.
Near the lake it was an amusement park that attracted a lot of people there. Going through the amusement park was an another staircase that led to the Dambri waterfall. The sight was incredible with the sounds of water, the beauty of the flows combined with the woods had made the place become so astonishing. At about 10am, we had lunch before we went back to Ho Chi Minh city after 2 days. I will always keep those precious memories in my mind and I strongly recommend foreigners to visit The Dambri Waterfall if they got a chance to travel here and remember to bring coat along whenever coming out of the tent otherwise you may catch a cold ????
