Pho, a world famous Vietnamese dish of fresh rice noodles with bread and meat, has been trendy with both Vietnamese and foreign people for decades.

Although thousands of restaurants serve traditional dishes throughout Vietnam, "Pho Thin" in Hanoi seems to have had the greatest impact on diners due to the delicate texture and exquisite fragrance of its broth.

Pho Thin's first franchise site opened in Tokyo earlier this year, orchestrated by Japanese local Kenji Sumi.

The 20-seater restaurant is situated in a small basement just three minutes from the busy Ikebukuro station and has received accolades from reviewers across the capital of Japan.
