Ta Cu Mountain

To get to Ta Cu Mountain, you need to drive 45 kilometers east from Mui Ne, so it will take you about an hour on a motorbike. On top of the mountain there are several remarkable temples and statues you shouldn't miss. As you enter the park, you'll pay your fee of 50k or take a cable car for 250k. Children go free. The cable car ride is a quick option, and you can look at the treetops from the comfort of your seat. Climbing the mountain by yourself will take some time and effort, so it's wise to consider that beforehand. Even maintaining a rapid tempo it takes 90 minutes to get to the top, so you need to be quite fit if you are up for this challenge. There is a restaurant at the top and a few other vendors selling drinks and ice cream, but the surroundings are very peaceful. You can also spot monkeys as well and use binoculars to see things far away, Thuan Nam Town, the sea, Ke Ga Lighthouse and rice paddies. There are two famous pagodas at the top of this ecological complex: Linh Son Truong Tho & Long Doan. The main attraction, however, is the giant, stark white Reclining Buddha, 49-meter long and 11-meter tall, built in 1962 and completed after nearly four years.
