Mui Ne Beach

Mui Ne is known for its idyllic white-sand beaches. Whether you are looking for water sports, drinks with friends, reading a book under the shade of a palm tree, or romantic walks along a long empty beach, Mui Ne has it, and it is easy to find. The most popular beach with many bars, resorts, and kitesurfing schools is at the main Mui Ne strip and can be accessed from the road through the resorts. This part of the beach is clean and usually very busy, especially during the windy season from November to April. You can observe kiteboarders riding the waves and kite instructors with their students on the beach, learning how to steer kites. If you want to give it a try, the lessons start at 50 USD per hour with equipment, instructor and insurance included. Even if you don't stay in any of these resorts, you can rent a sunbed for a small fee or order food and drinks from their affordable restaurants. South of this area is a quieter beach, perfect for swimming, where you can see more locals and fewer tourists. The water is flat as waves are broken by a strip of sand created by the Ong Dia Cape.
