As the Marketing & Event Coordinator Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—helping us grow awareness, engage our community, and create meaningful events that connect locals, expats, vietkieus and travelers. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, community engagement, and event planning, who’s ready to contribute creatively and grow with a dynamic, purpose-driven brand.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing social media content calendars (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Create and edit content (images, reels, captions, short videos) that reflects the brand’s tone and community vibe.
- Support email marketing campaigns, blog content coordination, and community newsletter distribution.
- Conduct research on local destinations, travel trends, or user-generated content to support editorial planning.
- Track analytics and help evaluate campaign performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics.
Event Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for Vietnam Is Awesome community events, such as meetups, workshops, and collaborations with venues or local creators.
- Support with event promotion across digital channels and community platforms (our Private Community, Facebook groups).
- Assist in managing RSVPs, preparing event materials, and liaising with partners and attendees.
- Collect feedback and help evaluate event impact for future improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- University student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Confident communicator (in English; Vietnamese is a plus) with a people-first mindset.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and design tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Meta Suite).
- Interest in travel, culture, and connecting with communities.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn in a startup-like environment.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience planning or promoting events (even at school or clubs).
- Basic photography or video editing skills.
- Understanding of SEO or content writing best practices.
- Experience with platforms like ClickUp, Business Meta, Google Suites.
